Detail I just returned from a week in Phuket where I stayed at the Expat hotel. The hotels location is excellent if you want to be close to the night time excitment of Bangla road and all that entails. The hotel itself provides clean basic rooms at a good price. The staff on my visit were all excellent and were happy to please if asked. The only down side from my opinion is that the beds are a bit hard for my liking, but thats my opinion and I appreciate others may infact like that. I hired a motor bike from the hotel and a days hirs was 250 Baht and the booking itself was easy and done in about 5 minutes. The hotel has a sports bar which was a good place to have breakfast or a few drinks at night prior to hitting the town. If you prefer to get with the locals, there is a great little place to eat called No 6 which if you walk down the entrance road of the hotel to the T intersection, turn right and about 50 mts the No6 is over the road on your left. All up a good little hotewl, with clean rooms, great staff and a good location. I would stay here again without doubt.

Detail Very well positioned hotel, a very quiet oasis very close to Patong beach, shopping center and nightlife. Staff is very helpfull and pleasant.

Detail We have stayed at this hotel already earlier and found it good enaugh to come again. The room is simple and no luxury. Still everything is clean and well maintained. We loved the pool area where you can sit in the evening and of course the best location of this hotel. It is in the middle of everything you expect from Patong. We liked the small private spa area at the hotel with good prices. One very positive thing was that the hotel is developping all the time, very nice reconstructed coffe shop to have the breakfast. The only thing to be improved could be the rooms, need a bit renovation.

Detail My family and I enjoyed our stay in Phuket Patong. The hotel we stayed was EXPAT HOTEL. This was a good choice as the room was spacious. The hotel is recommended as it is quite cheap and is located in a perfect location and was just about 5 minutes to the beach. The hotel also had a swimming pool. The price at the hotel cafe was reasonable compared to the price of other cafe. The hotel staff were friendly. We can walk to Jungceylon Shopping Centre where you can have meals at KFC, Swensen etc. I will stay in this hotel again if I plan my holidays to Phuket. Phuket was fun and full of good memories.

Detail I would highly recommend the management to add Wi-Fi internet at no charge in this hotel ( in rooms and bars), believe or not you will get more customer in your bars as well as in your hotel. The system you now have is old and boring and cut off every minute and customer has to pay for the minutes. Add some small amount on your beer and coffee 5-10 ThB instead and mach it up.

Detail Great location, many bars and clubs near with hotel, not so far from the beach, if you are lazy for go to beach use hotel swiming pool :). Good service. May be only quality of room can be better, and when came to room felt bad smell. But in vision it is great place - price/quality

Detail I stayed at the Expat hotel twice in the last month and it was my first time staying there. I stayed a total of 5 days. The location is perfect for those looking for the patong action, with the hotel actually being down a quiet soi with a reggae bar feel. For couples or families looking for a disney experience, patong may not be for you however. I found the expat to be one of the most relaxing and pleasant hotels I ve stayed at in my many Thai trips. The hotel is not new or fancy but the atmosphere is very nice, clean and safe, and they are a true one stop shop for everything you need for patong fun. Most of all, however the staff at the expat are truly excellent. Ann and Ann were so helpful with everything they made it feel like home away from home. They took care of everything from ferries to motorbikes to helping me when I forgot something, to just being so nice. I have to thank them again for such a pleasant stay and memories and I will certainly return on my next trip.

Detail I was given a bigger room over the front of the hotel(room 202), which was quieter than the rooms near the pool. This hotel is really aimed at single men who want to bring a Thai girl back for some fun. It is right next to the Bangla road bars, so there were lots of sex tourists there. I was told that you do not need to pay for a guest to share some time with you in your room. The pool and its area looks quite nice, but is not very deep and not very clean. I tried a swim and there was NO chlorine in the water at all. Yuk... The price did not include breakfast, I have stayed at many resorts and hotels in Thailand and for the price of this budget hotel I would have expected it to include breakfast. Overall this hotel provided the service it said it would and I maybe would stay there again if nothing else was available and I wanted to be a part part of the bar girl action .

Detail Hotel was clean and very tidy, renovations started around the pool bar area while we were there so this area was out of bounds, internet service was down for a few days. rooms were clean and tidy, well maintained, bathroom area was clean but no separation from the shower area and the toilet which meant that the whole area was wet after a shower. Only downside was that the beds are very uncomfortable, mattress s are like sleeping on boards. I would recommend this hotel to friends in the future.

Detail The hotel and pool were great. Only complaint is getting on-line. They advertize wifi - and it only intermittantly works. 3 of the 4 computers in the restaurant don t work. They were broken during my last visit 2 years ago! If you don t need to get online much - this is a good place to stay.

Detail Booked two rooms, stayed 3 nights with a group of friends (3guys & 3girls) few days ago. Room size is OK for 3 person in each room, bed a little hard but clean enough, no amenities in bathroom but there s hot shower. A small pool but the water is milky. Quiet location with a min walk to the nightlife, shopping and restaurants, 5mins to the beach. Hotel reception and people around are friendly, but 2 weird incidents on the 1st day we checked in, the guys were being told to stay on the 2nd floor while my female friends were told to stay on the 3rd floor, I don t know why!! And 10mins after we settled down, we (the guys) were told to change to the room next door, the staff said they have given us tthe wrong room.. (I don t see any difference between this two rooms).. Other than this experience, It was a nice pleasant stay. Recconmend for those who just need a room to sleep in, value for money.

Detail Nice hotel for that money. Good location. The hotel is much more beautiful, than appears on the Internet. Massage and spa is located in the territory of the hotel. I recommend this hotel to others.
