Detail Nice hôtel , Well located. Thé staff try to Help you as much as they can . We had a pleasent stay. Very hard to get a sunbed and umbrella at the beach, unless you wake up early and put a towel on it.

Detail the servise of this hotel is very very bad , can not compare with the other 2 hotels we stay in Samui and Koh Tao, when we ask for picking up servise from pier to hotal, they said this is not for free, this I think is OK even though the other hotels picking up and sending us all for free...BUT, you know ,they charge us 850 at first , after bargin, they ask for 800, at that time I don t know this cost is reasonabel or not ,then accept , but when we arrived at the pier , we found even taxi only cost 650....we feel very bad be costed too much by the hotel which is alrdy earn benifit from our staying....I will never book this hotel.

Detail This is the most incredible resort with all that you could possibly need on holiday. The staff are so friendly and are so willing to help, it makes leaving the resort a difficult task. The facilities are all clean, the resort offers all the creature comforts one could want. Even in poor weather, there is never a dull moment at Iyara.

Detail My wife & I stayed 8 nights in Lyara Beach Resort, our first time on Koh Samui, & were very pleased with our choice. On our arrival we were offered our choice of 3 available rooms. We had booked & paid for Seaview Deluxe, which involved stairs. As my wife had some knee problems we chose a Deluxe Private room which was ground floor, same value, because unlike the 2 other rooms, had a walk in shower. The bathroom was the largest one we have seen through out our 30 trips to Thailand, featuring a large seperate bath & a long bench with double basins. In the bedroom was a long lounge chair for viewing the large TV. The staff from the Lobby Staff to the Restaurant, Cleaning & general Ground Staff could not be faulted. Wardrobe space was amongst the largest we have seen. There was a very good seafood Restaurant across the street & a short walk up a side street was a Bakery, Food Corner[good Thai & Seafood & draught beer] & a little further on a market for a variety of fruit. Overall an excellent choice of Hotel.

This was our first time booking through Sawasdee, having usually booked through Royal Orchid holidays through our Brisbane Agent. We found Sawasdee Staff efficient & the arranged return Airport Hotel transfers & the accommodation totally reliable & would recommend booking through Sawasdee.

Detail The hotel was great. The staff of the hotel were very nice. The restaurant of the hotel is very good and there is two singers that are playing at the restaurant every night and they were very good. For a great beach you should walk a little. I suggest to take the room with the view to the sea.

Detail Nice hotel and good breakfast. Only complaint I could raise, and I dont think the hotel management can do anything about it, is the fact that the beach in front of the hotel was very poluted with what seemed to be oil from boat engines. We spent swimming time either in the hotel pool or walked along the beach for 1 hour to find clean clear waters to swim.

First class. We had last minute flight changes which changed all our bookings and they arranged all the changes and even got us a refund. Would not book any other way now.

Detail The Iyara Beach resort is a execellent hotel the rooms are modern and clean good size with aircondition . The pool is a stand out very clean and beautiful right against the beach , the restuarant and bar is very good great quality food a little more expensive then others but very good standards . each night the restuarant set up tables on the beach and the atmosphere was very romantic and tranquil this hotel is very good and l will recommend to everyone , the location is on the good side of chaweng beach excellent beach close to shops , yet very quite great staff also.

Detail The hotel is definitely a bit older than it appears in photos despite renovations in 2007. We didn t get to see the new wing, but our first 2 nights were spent in a Deluxe Seaview which was pretty terrible. The bathroom was not clean when we checked in and even the staff with us looked shocked. The floor was dusty and full of sand (surely this could ve been sweeped away easily!) and the shutter for the window was broken and swinging around. Needless to say, we complained - sadly to 2 very incompetent staff who didn t understand a word of English. We finally spoke to the Reservations Manager on our 2nd day (who I noticed was hanging around the pool sipping drinks every single day) who agreed after some forceful persuasion, to upgrade us to the Iyara Room on our 3rd day since it wasnt available until then. The Iyara Room was heaps better, clean bathroom (thank goodness) and facing the same view. After that, staff seemed to treat us better and were friendlier in general. No complaints about the breakfast in general although the queue for the egg station is generally very long. Most staff were quite professional except for one or two rude ones. The bartender is great, makes amazing daiquiris! All in all, great location (slightly removed from main Chaweng noise and over-crowding) but only 5 minutes walk on the beach or the roads. 711 right at entrance of hotel which is convenient. I would think a hotel charging this rate could provide toothbrushes etc, but it didn t. For the location and Iyara Room (or above) only, I would probably come back.
