Detail We had 2 nights; good location close to everything , a nice and clean beach and a friendly staff. Excellent breakfast!

Detail Only stayed here one night, but we wished we stayed longer. Great property located in a great location on the beach. And its located almost right across from Soi Green Mango. Food was great, staff were excellent, and nice pool and beach facilities. Highly recommended.

Detail We had booked a Superior Room for 3 people and when we arrived at the resort were told that this required the three people to share a double bed. When we objected we were very quickly shown to a room which met our initial expectations so I think that they were just trying it on initially. Other than that the staff were very friendly, the room and food very good. The bathroom was very nice but the cleaning could have been better for example the bnath was not cleaned during our stay of six days.

Detail Good location at the heart of Chaweng. McD&burger king outside. Close to the airport about 250Baht for taxi. But the washroom of our room was not so clean.

Detail We ve booked 11 nights and left the hotel after one night. We stayed in the garden bungalow and it was very much below our expectations! It is quite old, no fresh feeling in it! Very simple. The worth part for us (it may be ok for others) was that it was practically impossible to stay in the bungalow without curtains being completely closed! From all sides we were surrounded either by bypasses, or facing a very near by building or looking into other bungalow windows! Please note that on this beach the hotels plots are very small and each hotel tries to make just more money out of it leaving NO privacy to the guests. However, other hotels are doing as much as they can to make the guests comfortable, e.g. the near by Chaveng Regent is very nice and the wooden roads are nicely wlaking you through a very nicely taken care of territory. In the Garden, the roads are straight, pure ground and sand - so no fantasy or investment. The pool is really old and small and it boarders with the hotel fence. The breakfast is more or less ok, but if there will be more fans around, probably the hotel will not have the flies and mosquitoes flying over the bread. The beach is also ok, but we could hardly relax on it as it is full of people walking, passing by to the near by beach restaurants! The beach terns into one huge restaurant after 5pm! And it is true - the fireworks never stop! They are enormously loud! The management of the hotel is nice though and they were very helpful to find an other hotel and provided us with the computer to search for possible options and even called Sawadee for any possible arrangements. Note that the hotel is taking cancellation fee of one day. At the end we ve found ourselves in a very nice Fair house hotel in probably 1km from the Garden and were paying the same price for the privacy and comfort we needed.
room service facilities location reservationSawadee were efficient as usual. As our new hotel was not working with Sawadee, the later has returned us our payment practically in 24 hours, so we could easily pay it back to the new hotel. Nice to work with the guys!

Detail Very good location on Chaweng beach and very cozy bungalows, but you pay for it. For 4250 Baht, no breakfast (Big breakfast on Coffe Club recommended)this is perhaps value for money, not more. Beware that this part of Chaweng beach is partylife. The party noise is no real disturbance, but the fireworks that start at 11 and continues until 04.00 every night is fu*#¤ng irritating if you intend to sleep a night or two. The bombs really shake the bungalow. If you re looking for party on Chaweng beach this is a good place to stay. If you travel with family - go elsewhere.

Detail Wij verbleven hier voor de tweede keer en waren opnieuw zeer tevreden. Het is een perfecte locatie voor wie een beetje ambiance wil tijdens z n vakantie. Alles (strand, restaurants, bars, winkels,...) ligt op wandelafstand. Wij komen zeker terug. Hier proef je zeker nog de Thaise sfeer.

Detail The location of the hotel is great, in the center of Chaweng Beach. The rooms are nice, but nothing to write home about. The water quality is poor, smell bad. Some of the hotel staff should be sent on training course in how to take care of customers. I think I never stayed in at a hotel before, where so many of the staff had a unfriendly behavior. But the ladies that cleaned my room, and the staff at the beach was great. I will choose another place next time.

Detail This was the third time we had stayed at this resort and we were a little dissapointed this time as we were greeted as friendly as the previous times. It was like it was a hassle to check us in but the resort itself is in a very handy location to everything, food and entertainment and shopping. The rooms are very cheap and clean.

Detail Resort is in the main area of all activity. Hotel staff are nice and accomading and there is very little distrurbance to your stay by other guest and hotel staff. Pool location is facing the ocean and dinning area is well maintained, clean and of high standard.

They also give you a personalised service for personal querries e.t.c. I was able to change the booking with amazing speed after confirming my reservation, when i reduced my booking from 5 rooms to 4.

Detail I really thank you for all your service and I would like to tell you that I enjoyed my trip but I think the chaweng beach is not serve those looking for comfort, because winning the hassle of the fireworks all night long and annoying late at night and I advise those who want to go to Koh Samui to stay away from this beach.

Detail Great location. Cannot comment about the breakfast because in our case it was not included, but the restaurant is good. People who order beachfront view, you don t really see the beach, it is pool view to be more pricise. Massage at the hotel was better than in any other places we tried (but it is individual). Car/ motorbike for rent is better outside the hotel (you can bargain for better price in other places).

Detail I stayed at resort from 15 Sep 2009 to 20 Sept 2009. I have stayed at Chaweng Gardens many ago before the Resort was fully redeveloped with the new Bungalows. The Modern tastefully decorated Room i stayed in was the most comfortable i have had on all my trips to Thailand going back to 1990. It was set well back from the road near the beach so i did not have any noise from the village of Chaweng at night. I don t agree with any of the coments i have seen in these reviews criticing the staff. The staff are extremely welcoming, and helpfull for instance there is free internet access in the reception if you have your own Notebook. A lot of other resorts charge a lot for internet access. If the staff see you sitting down in this area they jump up to turn on the fan to make sure you are comfortable. I have seen people arrive trying to negotiate a ridiculous rate which would have been a price in 1990. The staff kindly advise them where there is a cheap room in the village and even offered to drive them there in their golf carts. Perhaps due to language difficulties these people ask Why are you doing this . The reason the staff are doing this is just because they are nice friendly people. On arrival at the reception you will be ferried with your bags to your room in one of their Golf carts. The food is very good at this resort. They have a great Seafood restaurant next to reception and on the beach a great seafood barbecue. Anyone complaining that they did not get a late checkout because they did not order one has only themselves to blame for not telling the staff in advance. That is the same in any hotel in the world, if you don t tell people what you want then you won t get it. I would definitely come back to Chaweng Gardens

Detail beautiful accomadation, rooms were spotless cleaned. we found all staff to be friendly and helpfull. the food was good and the beach was fantastic.

Detail We stayed at the resort from April 15-17 and we have been to the place many times before. The new buildings and rooms are a great improvement - stayed in a tripplet which is absolutely recommendable.The place has a nice location and the garden i great - but beware of mosquiots!! Reception staff seems quite tired - perhaps the season has been too long...
