Detail I checked into an extremely dirty and dusty room. It had a very bad smell too. The Rattan Chairs and the cubards with the draws had definetly for ages not been ever cleant. Nothing was clean. Had to request the staff to clean my room and to change the dirty towels on my arrival.Found BUGS and alot of Creatures in my Bed and in the room, which has stung me all over my body. To proof them, I had brought them twice to the receptionist. Got a very bad rash due to the bugs which had bitten me. I would never ever recommend this hotel to anybody even if it was free. I am very much dissapointed for the money which I had paid for. Very unfriedly kitdchen staff.Not at all helpful. I would not have stayed there if I had not paid in advance.

Detail ... the first impression, late at night is not convincing, but soon it was much better - a hotel in Thaistyl not new but very well appointed and classically - clean, large room, nice staff, very good location, thank you. ..

Detail If you want a place close to the action without the noise and hustle, this is it. The rooms are clean and spacious and include a large fridge well stocked at reasonable prices along with a microwave.It s an older hotel,but is well maintained.

Detail Stayed many times but as usual skipped breakfast. Room very clean, staff great very helpful, no noise in hotel. For a budget hotel would recommend, good as long as you don t expect the Ritz.

Detail My 2nd time staying here, Basic Hotel but very good value for money. Located on the quite end of Soi 4(nana). Rooms are big and clean, Staff friendly, very good location - near everything.Pool area a bit small and dated , but does for a dip. will stay here again

Detail Stayed many times. Location good near busy area and Skytrain but hotel quiet. Staff really good as ever. You get what you pay for. If you are ok with a very large room circa 40 square metres which is clean, has good aircon but not been modernised with a slightly tired bathroom you will find this ok. It s not top dollar but is fine.

Detail Stayed a few times and as always staff great. Rooms large and you get what you pay for but no complaints. For a budget hotel would recommend but go for breakfast somewhere else.

Detail The location of this hotel is very good and it is nice and clean. It is easy to find restaurants all over. There is a small pool area, but quite okay. It is easy to keep your tan there. The internet is good and without cost. Excellent breakfasts. The hotel can be recommended.

Detail Over the past few years I have stayed at the Royal Ivory maybe a dozen times. The hotel is a fair distance from Sukumvit (5 to 10 minute walk), and located in a quiet area. The rooms are large, with a window that actually opens. The decent room size and quiet area are the only reasons I prefer this hotel. I usually avoid the free breakfast. I ve been going to this hotel for some years, they would be better off not serving breakfast at all. If you want toast you must do it yourself on a toaster that takes maybe 5 minutes to toast, so there is usually a line of people waiting to make toast. Salt shakers are always clogged, rounding up silver ware can be a problem. Coffee is terrible. Juice is some kind of instant juice. In general the restaurant is poorly run and supervised. I wrote this comment in the hopes that the hotel with either drop their breakfast, or improve it.

Detail I didn t book breakfast this time and I have to say it didn t look like it had improved so glad I didn t. The staff were great as ever, very helpful. Rooms maybe dated but large and mine was very clean. For the location good I will always stay there because quiet but very handy for getting around.

Detail The breakfast was until 10h30 but after 10h there was nothing left on the table and nobody seemeds to check and replace anything. When I asked, I did not get any result; I went to go get the manager ,to no avail. Swimming pool water was really dirty. Andre Sirois Andre Sirois

It was very difficult to make the reservation with Sawadee.com a) because the text regarding the method of payment is not clear and b)the hotel advertised a special and it was impossible to see how to take advantage of it.

Detail Only stayed 2 nights. Hotel was good value. Would have no hesitation staying there again but would seriously not stay in BKK again. It still is a shithole. Cant wait to get out to the other resorts in Thailand. Love the place.

Detail I got the Deluxe King promotion stay 3 pay 2 / That means less then 1000 a night for 2 people 2 bf. Great value. Wonderful room with kitchen, huge size. Bf was more than ok, and I cannot complain about anything. Staff friendly, helpful. Then even help me to find a taxi meter ... WITH METER ON, and did not force me to take the taxi service from hotel. I will return definitely.
